..now as a dubious spiritual phenomenon MEDJUGORJE is setting many precedents...the local  Ordinary himself has said that MEDJUGORJE is the biggest swindle ever to seduce such a large number of the faithful in the history of the Church...this Dog and Pony show is not only affecting the older demographic causing the idiosyncratic pious old churchwomen syndrome to be seen in male and female patients alike..it has also consumed the young...and so we see a youth festival which is not authorized by any church authority..and so we have a gathering of spiritual hippies who are rebelling and flouting church authority...

..also regarding the most recent CDF letter forbidding the gathering publicly of anyone who takes the credibility of these alleged visions for granted..would constitute..disobedience to a CHurch directive..so too in a collective capacity such a sin or disciplinary transgression would be magnified...and the guilt imputed would set one in a state of more grave error..which would disturb the communion of the Church setting one up for spiritual schism...

 

.we have apparent peace and love..we have good intentions however we have spiritual dissonance and so the peace and love is intended and it is desired however it cannot occur because of the disobedience....we have no harmony...

 

 

..just as in nature weeds clump together for survival since they gain strength through parasitic symbiosis and cooperative gleaning of resources ...this coalescence of disobedience  together in effect is causing a spiritual allelopathy in the church....the public spectacle of defiance of church authority is hindering the flow of grace..hence the negative allelopathy...we have resource competition in this place and the counterfeit magisterium seems to be burgeoning...and we see the wrong spiritual precedents being purveyed....as Jesus said let the tares grow among the wheat until the harvest..and so through God’s permissive will good is seen through the action of the sacraments and the sacramentals ...

 

however...the continued disobedience to two successive Bishops decrees as well as the official statement of the Vatican that no cult to the Virgin Mary has ever been ratified or authorized as well no pilgrimage can be undertaken with the express intent of making such a pilgrimage a verification of the supernaturality of apparitions or visions without further study from the Vatican..to surely say the Virgin is appearing is an act of arrogance and a usurpation of the authority of the Church..since the Church through the Zadar commission has stated that based on their study it could not be ascertained that anything supernatural was happening regarding the phenomenon at MEDJUGORJE...so we see these spirits of conceit, contempt, arrogance, pride and presumption have grown as tares among the wheat...

 

[24] Another parable he proposed to them, saying: The kingdom of heaven is likened to a man that sowed good seeds in his field. [25] But while men were asleep, his enemy came and oversowed cockle among the wheat and went his way.

[26] And when the blade was sprung up, and had brought forth fruit, then appeared also the cockle. [27] And the servants of the goodman of the house coming said to him: Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? whence then hath it cockle? [28] And he said to them: An enemy hath done this.  ..the tares look identical to the wheat just as in MEDJUGORJE the devotions and the spectacle outwardly appear the same however the inner disposition to church authority is empty..there is no fruit inside the husk of the tares(cockle).....

 ...when one is vain and proud they seek excellence outside of the norms of proper reason..and so such a person wrongly perceives that to be outside of the command of anyone but themselves is a proper mode of being...however since we see we are not all fit to every vocation since we each are tailored for our own particular vocation we must indeed abide by the commands of particular authorties...those who suffer from vainglory think that a certain state of excellence occurs when they are not subject to another’s command..and so such a person falls prey to disobedience quite readily..it can be said they are prone to this frailty more compunctually...

 ..as well since according to Romans 13:1-2 we see that disobedience to the commands of a superior is a grievous sin, since such insubordination is contrary to the love of God....

MEDJUGORJE NEWS: THE WAY OF THE CROSS 

....as lovers of Christ we are called to lay our life down and take up the cross of Christ in faith and truth...since we are indeed Easter people we sow the seeds of hope in our works..a hope in the resurrection..to be able to consummate this union a death must occur..the death of our selfish desires must take place...we must mortify our self-will and take into account all the Church teaches..so that we can become true witnesses to the testimony of Christ in the cross....

...as Padre Pio said he loves the cross..since on that cross he sees Jesus..and so we must make our life a continual way of the cross...if we wish to be sincere ...so that the eternal birth which is the fountain of renewal takes place within us otherwise it is of no avail...the traditional way of the cross is composed of 14 stations which outline important moments during the passion of our Lord...these stations usually have annexed to them a short meditation so that we can make a dispensation of our intellect to the mortifications of the cross...

..in MEDJUGORJE we see there is no mortification of the self..since adherents to the message seek solace in visions and have become spiritually obsequious to unapproved spiritual formation as purveyed by unapproved seers....such a person is feeding their own notion as to what spirituality they pick and choose to suit their own delectations..we see this is not the cross of Christ but a peculiar festival of counterfeit peace...without unity of cause..and out of latent contempt for competent authority we see a subversion of the cross of Christ....

..what we have occurring in MEDJUGORJE is counterfeit peace...since we have concord of  wills it is falsely mistaken that peace is educed..however to have true peace we must have agreement of wills which is well-ordered according to truth...since peace is tranquility of order in which all a soul’s appetites rest together in God...since in MEDJUGORJE we have dissension to competent authority (the local Ordinary)..we cannot have peace..since dissension to the authority of Christ is contrary to a spirit of peace....as well we also have dissension to the Holy See itself since many people at MEDJUGORJE are absolutely certain the Virgin is appearing...however no official approval for a cultus of Mary has ever been passed forward by the Vatican...as well people are allowed to visit but in no ways can such a visit be a verification of the supernaturality associated if any with the apparitions themselves....

 

....as we see true love of Christ begins when one takes up the cross and follows in the footsteps of the divine master....according to the first station of the way of the cross Jesus is condemned to death...in the accompanying meditation Jesus is handed over by Pilate..to remain a friend of Caesar and to condemn innocence to death..since Pilate found no fault in Jesus..we see that Pilate sought to please men above God...in MEDJUGORJE we see the same attitude adherents to the message seek to please themselves and to please the seers however no-one seeks to please and respect the wishes of the local Ordinary(the BISHOP)  who as a man of God with proper faculties and as a competent authority..is being vilified and ignored..just as Jesus was ignored and sold into ignominy...

 

....in the second station of the cross Jesus is made to carry the cross..if we see in MEDJUGORJE the local Ordinary himself is made to carry the cross as well...to suffer insults and indignity which owing to his station he deserves a higher regard..however out of love for Jesus the Bishop has carried the cross for all these years..not once capitulating to the desires of those who seek to destroy the unity within the church....

 

 

 ..station three...Jesus falls the first time since the weight of our sins are an oppressing burden..as well in MEDJUGORJE we see the oppressive burden and the shame the local bishop must endure all for love of truth and tradition...indeed his popular appeal and credibility and the credibility of the church itself has fallen as the renegades and rebellious fanatics have tried to usurp the authority at this place....however since the bishop truly loves Christ he has gotten back up and remains stalwart in his convictions....

 

 

..the Virgin Mary at MEDJUGORJE..weeping at all the disobedience to her spiritual son the successor of the apostles (the Bishop of MOSTAR)...
 

...station four...just as Jesus met his mother on his way..the local Bishop at MEDJUGORJE must endure threats and lies in the name of love for Jesus and his mother..how Mary herself must weep at the sight of one of her sons being so badly treated...as Jesus on the cross said to John behold your mother...the bishop at MEDJUGORJE as a son of Mary ...as a successor to the apostles must endure constant calumny all in the name of love for Mary..there seems to be an apparent contraindication to love...as competent authority is purloined by the outward entreaty of the seers at MEDJUGORJE to defiance and the selfish interior dispositions of the adherents as betrayed by their flippant attitude regarding the good Bishop...

 

..station five..Simon of Cyrene is compelled to help Jesus carry the cross...so we see the local Bishop at MEDJUGORJE also is compelled to help Jesus carry the cross of truth and unity..the cross which spiritually signifies the Church...out of love for Christ the bishop endures it all with great interior peace ..since he is withholding the precepts of the Church..out of charity...and his intellect and appetites strive to attach themselves to what is most beneficial for the soul and unity of the church..and this is to rest in the peace of Christ...

 ..one can continue for all the 14 stations of the cross and elucidate the parallels between Christ and his successor the good bishop of MEDJUGORJE...but I believe at this point the good reader is able to apprehend the gist of the nature of grievous offenses committed unto the character of the good bishop at MEDJUGORJE..... we only persist in crucifying Christ anew..through spiritual infamy directed at Christ's spiritual Son (the good bishop at MEDJUGORJE).....

 

 ....to avoid further embarassment out of Christian charity it would indeed be a kind gesture to ask forgiveness of the good bishop at MEDJUGORJE for past wrongs and to abide by his directives so as not to inflict any further collateral damage to the unity of the mystical body of Christ ...amen

MEDJUGORJE & UFOs ...A COUNTERFEIT WALK OF FAITH

MEDJUGORJE & THE UFO PHENOMENON

....when one encounters a fundamental need for meaning inside a seemingly unfathomable existence..one encounters an existential vacuum...indeed this may also be an excellent blessing in disguise..when one reaches that juncture in life where they have lost all hope ..turning inwards for reasons...questioning one’s mortality...all this prevenient grace can be beneficial...however since a one who has been away from the walk of faith as a revert or a non-believer their soul will be as a garden overgrown with weeds and thickets..these weeds are symbolic of bad habits and flaws which are a result of complacency concerning spiritual matters...so we see when someone has received this call to seek meaning...this innate desire is nothing more than the voice of God acting on the ground of the soul....one looks for purpose ..there is an inherent need to make sense of our surroundings....without meaning life is only desperation and apparent fruitless suffering...the myth of Sisyphus...sometimes through calamity and tragedy into  the primordial  emptiness the cracks that life inculcates upon a person .... here the light of God seeps ..

...since God speaks to the soul at the ground...this secret place where God in his likeness to his creation communicates...this is where bypassing the intellect and the senses the voice of God distributes its message...interiorly

...when one in this state of mind hears of heavenly phenomenon however their soul is still a garden full of weeds and thickets..this one has a tendency to project their interior turmoil upon outward occurrences...such a person falls prey to hallucinations and fantasy more readily since they seek to bring meaning to the dark enveloping cloud of mystery and emptiness that they have found themselves in...they are used to feeling and holding and are unsteady in the arena of faith where nothing can be held only the assurance that all things which rise must converge and by using the reason one may arrive at the fact that God is this convergence point...such a person seeks exterior mysteries to give meaning to their interior emptiness..so it is easy to see how an apparition or a mysterious visitation can suddenly allow a person to give their life creedence...  owing to pride of place such a soul is accustom to rely on its own subjective intuition...so such a person attaches too much importance to the phantasms picked up by physiologic determination.... this is why apparitions appeal to this type of person since the exterior fulfillment provides an outlet for an interior emptiness and so providesa fixation point for God or hopetherein... indeed God  exists in all places however such people who have dealt with crude emotion for so long are accustomed to points of reference and feel uneasy when there is nothing to hold...since they have been far away from the walk of faith and so the appearance of an apparent substantial palpable form gives them a palpable construction to hold onto since they lack faith..... and so we see how conversion based on apparitions can be seen as very weak since faith is lacking and it is more about things seen and felt rather than faith in the prescience of God and the paths he has pre ordained....

..as it is said the UFO phenomenon is a way in which people who find themselves in an existential vacuum allow themselves to project the inner turmoil they feel onto fabricated alleged visitations and conspiracy theories so they make their feelings palpable by acting them out vicariously through extraterrestrial visitors..these visitors from another world whether fantasized or not give such a person justification for living since they feel fulfilled that the intangible elements of thought and emotion  of the vast emptiness of a soul void of holy virtue  can  be conceptually projected and in a strange way exorcised...indeed people are better able to cope with their scattered interior disposition if they conceptualize and role play their problem in a myth or a fairytale setting....in essence they see what they feel...so we see at MEDJUGORJE people are effectively exorcising their repressed angst through the alleged appearance of visitors from heaven...by freeing the repressed angst people feel better and they associate this with the grace of God and in short it is all delusional...and far from a true course of spiritual enlightenment..which occurs from the ground of soul where God and the soul are one in the spark of illumination where God speaks to his creatures transcendently....and immanently through the effects and interactions all things have on each other.. a chain of causation...

...in MEDJUGORJE we see people converting to the church since they associate visitation with the mother of God as a signal that they are recognized by God and so this feeds their sense of superiority..and they now feel themselves quite the expert in the mystical life...since in their imagination heaven has condescended to  broach their darkness..yet they do not live the Gospel where it tells ...

And he said to me: My grace is sufficient for thee; for power is made perfect in infirmity. Gladly therefore will I glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may dwell in me. [10] For which cause I please myself in my infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ. For when I am weak, then am I powerful.

2 CORINTHIANS 12:9-10

..here our weakness is poverty of spirit ..which means a subjugated will..through holy obedience..for our strength comes from our free will..and when we give this away to our spiritual superiors who are not condoning sin..then we become weak in ourselves but strong in the precepts of CHRIST...

...indeed God loves us all however if he were to visit us on a daily basis then we would not develop any virtue..the way of the cross would be meaningless...in short we would have counterfeit spirituality..and so God would have cheated us out of our just rewards..namely a life actualized in Christian virtue...through a walk of faith....

..because many people who have converted at MEDJUGORJE have no idea what a walk of faith entails and because their soul is as a garden of weeds and thickets..such a person needs much education on the faith...because at a time before their life changing infusion of prevenient grace such a person had hoped in the things seen and so an apparition or vision easily replaces the former hopes with a new false hope...since God belongs to the things unseen he can only be grasped through faith not conjured through imagination... such a person who is new to the world of faith is susceptible to much error since their skills of discernment are not yet properly formed..such a person is wise to listen to educated teachers and to not rely on themselves until they have learned how to venture forth in the walk of faith.. it is similar to one who is sick and they visit a doctor and the doctor passes a verdict or a diagnosis however this person who is proud does not like the verdict and so they deny and become indignant..it is as if such a person knows better than a doctor who has studied a lifetime..such a person does not trust in God...if we don’t trust our doctor how can we get well if we do not follow a course of prescribed treatment..it is the same with Jesus the divine doctor who works through his team of doctors(the magisterium)...as Thomas Aquinas tells us...

 “this is clear from a consideration of Divine goodness, which, as we have said above (44, 4; 65, 2), was the cause of the production of things in existence. For as "it belongs to the best to produce the best," it is not fitting that the supreme goodness of God should produce things without giving them their perfection. Now a thing's ultimate perfection consists in the attainment of its end. Therefore it belongs to the Divine goodness, as it brought things into existence, so to lead them to their end: and this is to govern…”

..and so God governs the course and the necessity for medical doctors to keep us healthy..just as God appoints the direction of magisterium to withhold the doctrines and traditions of his church..if someone does not trust the church then such a person by default does not trust God…so we see in MEDJUGORJE we have no faith in action since in order to have faith we must trust God…what we see in MEDJUGORJE is blind presumption which is a direct symptom of latent pride…

...wise counsel will come  from the magisterium...however in MEDJUGORJE we see that the magisterium is bypassed and so people fall into much error...amen

..”THE WILL OF THE BISHOP IS THE WILL OF GOD”...

 ...indeed Padre Pio speaks to us immanently... yet not through a vital action of a physiological voice..Padre Pio does not exist as such since he has passed from the bounds of time..however in spirit Padre Pio speaks to us about what is happening in MEDJUGORJE...since Padre Pio who we can see through his love of the church and the magisterium was a saint who epitomized the ideal of holy Obedience..an acquiescence of the soul to the authority of Christ seen in his bishops and religious clergy....

 

 

..indeed Padre Pio loved the sacrifice of the mass..for in it he could consummate his being through the obedience of the passion...through the sacrifice of the mass Padre Pio could unite his holy obedience to that of Christ...truly of one soul as Jesus said ..not my will but yours God...

 

...we see in MEDJUGORJE this is not occurring due to a flippant conceited and arrogant spirit which is pervasive among adherents to the messages...indeed either through spiritual negligence or gluttony followers of MEDJUGORJE have missed the meaning of the mass...in the mass the good Padre did not only see Jesus ...he saw the unified mystical body of all the universal church bound by holy submission of will paid for by the divine token of love...no greater love than to lay down your life for others...and by submission to church authority Padre Pio did just that..however we do not see this occurring in MEDJUGORJE...

 

...as Padre Pio who was persecuted by his Bishop and wrongly accused of faking his stigmata..he was ordered to celebrate mass by himself...indeed Padre Pio did not rebel or justify himself..he patiently endured his exile for 6 years...he even though wrongly accused was after his exile ordered to say mass at 4am to not attract too much attention to his stigmata ....did as he was told without asking why he was sanctioned so severely..

 

..indeed when people close to Padre Pio saw that he was being unjustly accused by the magisterium Padre Pio answered those who took umbridge with the bishop and sought to criticize him for unfair treatment of the good Padre...Padre Pio answered that the ..

 

”will of the Bishop is the will of God”....

 

.. indeed Padre Pio by suffering from the church and for the church followed in the steps of the divine master Jesus in a most excellent manner..just as Jesus suffered through his mercy for our sins he also suffered at the hands of his apostles who fled when he was in the garden and who denied him..just as Peter denied him three times...so we see that Padre Pio saw the necessity of holy obedience to Church appointed authority...

 

. the phenomenon in MEDJUGORJE is an offense to God and his shepherds..the stench of pride cascades up through the sheepcots and the angelic orders along with all the prayers and supplications...like a dark and winnowy smoke that you might get from the kindling of rotten wood..the smoke serves to choke or cloak and blind those who it comes into contact with..in effect casting a pall over their good intentions ..since the fuel of the prayer is rotted by pretention and pride we see a festival of hypocrisiy or indeed ignorance and crass impetuosity....it is a wonder that people don’t see that their defiance and complacency cannot be pleasing to God who is a humble and non-contentious spirit...

 

...indeed it is a wonder that the adherents of MEDJUGORJE don’t see that through pride they are falling away from God rather they believe the opposite..their good feelings which fool them into thinking they are closer to God indeed betray their interior disposition...they would love to be close to God however their pride and disobedience cuts them off...since pride is the beginning of the falling off from God since pride by default scorns any subjection to God and by a consequence of this the proud soul scorns to be subject to any creature of God namely in the case of MEDJUGORJE the bishop...so we see how the phenomenon of MEDJUGORJE has effectively subverted proper spirituality with a counterfeit version... we see no holy obedience and so humility does not follow and pride reigns..hence the inordinate amount of spiritual sloth neglect and interior complacency it is a slovenly spirituality...since complacency is a symptom of latent pride..such a one believes they are without blemish since they feel emotionally that God has touched them so deeply and so they neglect proper recollection and fall into unseemly spiritual habits...

 

..as we see in Thomas Aquinas...

“ Pride is said to be the most grievous of sins because that which gives sin its gravity is essential to pride. Hence pride is the cause of gravity in other sins. Accordingly previous to pride there may be certain less grievous sins that are committed through ignorance or weakness. But among the grievous sins the first is pride , as the cause whereby other sins are rendered more grievous. And as that which is the first in causing  is the last in the withdrawal from sin, a gloss on PSALM 18:13, "I shall be cleansed from the greatest sin," says: "Namely from the sin of pride, which is the last in those who return to God, and the first in those who withdraw from God."

..so we see the first sin in those who withdraw from God the root of which is Pride..and through disobedience to the local ordinary at MEDJUGORJE we have as the root cause..spiritual pride and obstinate orientation towards one’s own prerogative..

 

..indeed praying the rosary and fasting are good spiritual exercises but are subverted if the fruit of such exercise does not yield ardent works of charity according to one’s vocation whether active or religious..Padre Pio indeed spent hours working in the confessional to free souls from the bondage of sin ..may we all take this example and put it to practice..by sincere works of charity…..following visions will not bring us closer to God as it mentions in scripture….

…yet acts of charity united to the bosom of the church through her sacraments  annexed by holy obedience ...inevitably will make straight the paths of the Lord… a sure sign that God is working within…. amen

MEDJUGORJE: THE STICK OF OBEDIENCE

 

..there was once a group of ascetics before the advent of  what today we now recognize as a monastic community...these ascetic religious occupied the arid desert regions of Egypt...they were known as the Desert fathers.....

.indeed the idea of the desert  in a symbolic spiritual sense conjures up notions of the desert of the soul to make a parallel..we each one of us on our spiritual journey must search the desert of ourselves and find God within..indeed as a result of the Sin of Adam we must wander in the desert cut off from God...since we have been cast from paradise and a state of perfect contemplation of God we must endure the arid places void of expedient grace...we must traverse the wasteland..as it mentions in Isaiah..

 

 

Behold I do new things, and now they shall spring forth, verily you shall know them: I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert

-Isaiah 43:19

 

…as it mentions in Isaiah God will do new things in the soul he will make rivers of living water in the desert…if the desert is a soul in a state of sin then through faith and obedience to Church doctrine and tradition living water of grace will flow as rivers of virtue within the soul…

 

…now among the Desert fathers there was a distinguished humble and obedient brother called..John The Dwarf…after years of mortifying his will and practicing various spiritual exercises and austerities he took it upon himself to try and excel in the virtue of obedience…on the advice of his spiritual Father Abba Pambo..St. John the Dwarf was advised to take a walking stick and plant it into the ground…indeed John the Dwarf did as he was told since he understood that renunciation of one’s own will in spiritual matters was a great blessing and very pleasing to God..since Jesus himself was obedient unto death on the cross…and so John sought to imitate his master(Jesus)…now John indeed planted this stick in the ground..after planting the stick of obedience in the ground he was told to carefully nurse this dead stick on a daily basis by keeping the ground around the base of the stick free from weeds…in a sense symbolically this can be taken as a doing a regular examination of conscience in the spiritual life… also he was told to fetch water every day and water the stick of obedience..indeed if a person who does not understand the spiritual life would think that this is quite a useless exercise….it is repugnant to the reason…we may draw a parallel here between what is happening at MEDJUGORJE..we see that the edict of two successive Bishops is indeed repugnant to the reason of those who say the SEERS themselves are seeing the Virgin Mary when indeed the Bishop has said there is nothing supernatural concerning visions at MEDJUGORJE..

 

…indeed to tend and water a dead stick is an insult to common sense and reason..however if we take the stick as symbolic of faith we understand that what is a darkness to natural reason becomes a dark light of faith to the reason which is wedded to faith…so we see that the stick represents faith and we see that tending to the stick represents works..and so we see that obedience to a spiritual father represents obedience to the church…indeed in order to get water in the desert John had to walk many miles..by the time he got back from his journey it would be late in the day and so we see that this walk to get water is a walk of faith…as in our spiritual journey we make a walk of faith..we exercise perseverance and we exercise courage…because John indeed was harassed by wild animals..in order to get water at the watering hole he had to contend with crocodiles and snakes and other wild beasts…in a spiritual sense these beasts represent our own desires and the temptations of the devil….we all must fight our own desire on our quest for virtue…the water we use to tend to our stick of faith are all our good works which are nourished by the sacramental life…

 

…indeed John the dwarf after tending to his stick of faith  and obedience found to his delight that it started to blossom and bear fruit after a period of three years…so we see that our works coupled with self-mortification which is indeed an exercise that can be repugnant to common reason will in the end yield fruit…however when a person through complacency or arrogance ignores the advice of a spiritual father all their acts then become self centred works and these works although seemingly holy are not blessed by God…by turning away from our spiritual fathers our works become an offense to God,,,since we are united to heaven through the magisterium of the church…

 

…the lessons one receives from such a story are manifold…indeed one is humbled by following advice which is repugnant to the reason yet not sinful in nature…by mortifying the reason one thinks of others more than oneself and by doing so emulates God … since God descends to our level to raise us up to his…indeed God by giving us reign over his creation has put himself at our service…since nothing we have comes from ourselves…all that we have comes from God and by making us master of his world he places himself at our service…all we can give God is our obedience we cannot glorify him any more since he is imperfectible…we can only glorify ourselves through him by offering ourselves through obedience and so by our gift of obedience we become free and eternal in heaven…we become a praise of his glory just as St. Paul wrote…

 

That we may be unto the praise of his glory, we who before hoped Christ:

…so when we are obedient to another we become closer to God since in spirit we seek to bring each other to the same level and consequently we bring heaven to earth and unite ourselves through a motion of spiritual consanguinity , reconciliation  and peace…this is true humility…John following the advice of his spiritual father was courageous and displayed fortitude and mortification of his pride…by his concession to another he appeared as a laughingstock before his other brethren who indeed saw this as a futile exercise…indeed a fool for Christ…so by undertaking this task of watering the stick of obedience…John received the great reward..and in the end he was able to share the fruit of his obedience which spiritually are all the virtues he garnered from his faith and his obedience….

..indeed among the desert fathers it is said that God loves nothing more than those little children of his who obey his superiors or even the least among his community...holy obedience engenders all the virtues while blind obedience in this case to SEERS which is contrary to holy obedience obviates the magisterium and subverts the economy of salvation and the church to which the adherents to MEDJUGORJE perfidiously cleave whether astuciosly(by cunning) or through complacency...in effect what we have in MEDJUGORJE is an insipient form of Cafeteria Catholicism insidiously disseminating into the bulwark of the faith..the smoke of satan ....through which many grievous errors may flow into the church in an attempt to sully it from within....

MEDJUGORJE: THE ELEPHANT IN THE LIVING ROOM

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

...what we are seeing as a result of thirty years of spiritual aphasia, denial, complacency and false charity...is the presence of an ELEPHANT in the living room so to speak...the Elephant is there however due to false charity and false ecumenism people are reticent to broach the matter..in effect we do not want to hurt anyone’s feelings..however the church as a whole suffers...

....the phenomenon of MEDJUGORJE has entrenched itself in many parishes across the world and good honest traditional catholics have seen their pious well intentioned friends become seduced by  this spectre of false piety and raw emotion...since we are told that one of the spiritual acts of mercy is to admonish the sinner ... one out of charity must warn their neighbour...

 

The spiritual works of mercy are:

• To instruct the ignorant;
• To counsel the doubtful;
• To admonish sinners;
• To bear wrongs patiently;
• To forgive offences willingly;
• To comfort the afflicted;
• To pray for the living and the dead.

 

….our motive which springs from the well of living water which is the pierced side of Christ and symbolic of his mercy…so that with St. Ignatius we may pray..after each communion..

… this unity of cause from the one true source must be the impetus for our alms and our almsgiving..mercy be its efficient cause and its final cause divine justice…not to give solely in a material way but to engender all the faculties of the soul and in unison to deliver from the spirit of truth all that is just and due to our neighbor…by providing a reference for proper behavior we set a good example for each other and as St. Francis said…we preach the gospel and if necessary we use words…..indeed just as St. Francis ministered to and washed the lepers we see in a symbolic sense through spiritual acts of mercy we wash the dust and disease of error out of the pores and recesses of our neighbours being…making them clean in a spiritual sense….reproved in correct doctrine and tradition….

....we see that we as good honest traditional catholics have failed to wake our neighbour up out of their slumber...and through our timidity and our sin of omission we have allowed this gross occlusion to cloud the eye of the mystical body of the  Church...in effect MEDJUGORJE is a cataract on the lense of our mind’s eye and so it does not reflect the light of reason onto our mind as well as it should... we have in effect become enablers instead of standing up for truth we have waffled and become luke warm...

 

 

As Jesus told Faustina luke warm catholics he feared the most...

..indeed there are many factors at play and so we cannot say that the phenomenon at MEDJUGORJE is the sole fault of the adherents and followers of the messages...indeed the reformation of the mass may be a factor..since included in the prayers after low mass in the tridentine rite are the Hail Mary , Salve Regina(Hail Holy Queen) along with the prayer to St. Michael...these prayers one time were invoked at the end of each mass and after the reformation of the mass to the novus ordo these prayers are not said  anymore...there is nothing wrong with the validity of the form of the Novus Ordo Mass..however the absence of seminal prayers may be an issue... this absence of the spirit of Mary at the mass could be why people who are thirsting for Mary find themselves naturally drawn to these false apparitions to fill a void in their spirituality so to speak..and so MEDJUGORJE arose as a chastisement from God...indeed in one way or another we are all to blame for the phenomenon at MEDJUGORJE...let us stand up for truth and united as one faithful body pray for each other in a spirit of thanksgiving and forgiveness...amen
