..at medjugorje people place their precious faith a gift of God in the hands of seers..such seers have no authority or credibility..yet since people become lonely and bored in their faith journey they need to juice things up with a little excitement and so they walk the wild side and allow others to cast the dice..this is dangerous since speculation or spiritual gambling is sorcery and a sin to be shunned it is abhorrent to faith.... and now many people allow this jejune piety to replace stolid CHurch sanctioned devotions....such counterfeit spirituality closes one off to the workings of the Holy Spirit since such people believe themselves to be holy and saved since they believe they are doing God a great service by answering the call of OUR LADY..however the Church has NEVER proven such a fact....and by so doing they ignore the will of God as it emanates from his temporal organ which is the magisterium of the Church...God does not speak through unsanctioned seers ..God's will proceeds from the Church which is the mystical body of Christ..from whose heart flows every grace...
.....such a phenomenon is pernicous and insidious and indeed very cunning...since the devil uses Church sanctioned devotions such as prayer fasting and the rosary as decoys to lead people out of the COMMUNION of the saints....into a spirituality of scrupulosity rather than one of Generosity..and so now people believe themselves to be edified through their own work while all the while they are presuming upon God's mercy...they ignore Church decrees thinking it is perfectly reasonable to destroy the credibility of the Church and place 2000 years of apostolic succession into the hands of seers who have no authority....let it roll!!!
...indeed the stakes are high since faith is on the table...if such seers are found out to be unreliable witnesses then what good will all this speculation have done???...playing crapaud or craps with one's faith is indeed an offense to God since spiritually one is bent over as a toad with their face to the ground and not toward heaven...since heaven in the spirit has no direction we must understand these terms in the spirit and not as placings of spatial coordinates..when one says ground one means the spirit of gluttony and material things..when one says heaven one means the spirit of renunciation and penury of spirit...such people who deal in phenomenon become fixated on the visions of the world (apparitions) what they see with the senses and what they feel with the emotions..this is a hunched over faith..it is paralyzed..since God cannot be felt or seen we see that effectively the devil has cunniingly distracted these people from the true path of catholic spirituality...which resides in the gospel of charity....
...so now effectively such people are cut off from the workings of the holy spirit since they are consumed with the things seen and felt and they close themselves to any growth since they believe they have arrived at holiness...they close their spiritual ears and eyes and the devil now has them lured away from the flock...and Jesus has warned us of this in scripture when he said...
10 Amen, amen I say to you: He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up another way, the same is a thief and a robber.
-John 10:1
..what is meant spiritually in this verse is that anyone such as a seer without credibility who attempts to pass messages which are allegedly from God but who does not go through the proper spiritual door which temporally is the Church is a thief and a robber...and so a gambler is a thief and a robber since such a person refuses to work honestly for their living since they rely on cunning and the misery of others to gain happiness..and so we can see that this is the hallmark of the work of the devil..to feel good no matter what the cost and to enslave others in the process...the devil wants to make us spiritual slaves while God seeks to make us free..and so we should avoid such phenomenon if we are called to follow a rigid program in order to be saved.....we each have a vocation which the Holy Spirit interiorly deigns or quickens us to pursue...and we will recognize it if we follow the voice of God as it proceeds from his Church....in short there is no recipe for salvation per se...besides living the Gospel....
>>jesus told us his yoke was easy and his burden was light...at medjugorje we are told to follow the messages of prayer of the rosary daily and fasting on bread and water and reading the bible..it is a strict regimen and so this is setting us up for failure since the devil will get us to do all these things with the intention of starting us off with good feelings and extra-accesory zeal yet when we fall away from our spiritual chores which are passed off as devotions because we set the standard too high we run the risk of setting ourselves up for despair...which is another sin of the holy spirit..and the sin of Judas Iscariot...the key is balance..to start slow and work our way towards our vocation..some are called to more some are called to less yet all those who live the Gospel in virtue are pleasing to God...
...as therese of lisieux the little flower said we should do small things with great love..indeed this is the way of the gospel..some people cannot fast some people cannot say the rosary everyday..some people cannot attend mass everyday..as people of God we need to concentrate on living a life of virtue....not on rules and regimes...medjugorje is a pharasiaical cult and very easy to see that it is not genuine spirituality coming from the Mother of God..since it sets one up for failure as well we see most of the adherents have ignored the ruling of the BIshop's conference and have publicly promoted this place as a supernatural Church sanctioned shrine which is completely false....it is all rash presumption based on imperceptibly probable arguments such as what the seers say or the subjective experiences of visitors (spinning sun) or conversions which are attributable directly to the sincerity of the faith of the devotees & the prevenient and cooperative graces of God ...such presumption is not even close to vehement presumption which is the presumption the Bishop has based his ruling on since it is based on evidence and facts not speculation...
..let us examine ourselves with the spirit of counsel so that we may act according to the voice of the spirit of God ....amen
