.....vincible ignorance (removable through reasonable deliberation) is a sin, if it be about matters one is bound to know....
in so far as one omits to say what one ought, or to do what one ought, or to desire what one ought, in order to acquire the knowledge which we ought to have.......
-thomas Aquinas (summa theologica)
yet...at MEDJUGORJE we are not cautioned by the seers on the official ruling of the CHurch..and those who choose to attribute a supernatural character to the visions are guilty of studied or supine ignorance..since they have either not Checked the official Church stance or choose to ignore it...since the Church has said it is not possible to atribute any supernatural character to visions or apparitions at this place....and since before ascribing the assent of our faith we are bound to act according to the precepts of the CHurch...
..it is true that a mind may believe as it wishes however...to misrepresent the truth constitutes a tort in civil law and can entitle one to pecuniary damages..meaning such people may be litigated against for pecuniary damages..as well to falsely publicize Medjugorje as a place of supernatural apparitions and by so doing induce scandal through the ommission of communication of the duty which the faithful have in obeying such a precept is a sin which is grave in matter and violates charity and is definately an evil in itself...
..since by leading through a bad example by disobeying certain precepts of the Church such people harm the unity of believers instituted to the apostles to bind and preserve by Jesus ... by so doing such people damage the cohesive spiration of the Holy Spirit in the Church..and so unwittingly work against God.....
....amen
