MEDJUGORJE APPARITIONS-LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL

....the signification of the phrase like a bat out of hell..to appear suddenly out of thin air with a rapid darting frenzied uncontrollable haste....

Like a bat out of hell- adv. Phr.-very quickly, “once all the bats were confined in hell.They still have wings like the devil.One day someone left the gates open and they quickly darted out and escaped to earth...” popular folklore...indeed the bat is a noctural animal and so the metaphor serves to represent the false spirituality of medjugorje which is turned away from the light and abides by the darkness of our own fallen natures..

..the purpose of using bats as a metaphor for false spirituality does in no way seek to villify these industrious creatures who serve a relevant purpose in nature as do all God's created things...

...as a result of the false ecumenism directly related to the subjective erroneous interpretation of the lay directives of Vatican 2 ..the charismatic movement appearedwith a new intemperate frenzied spirituality which was indeed hard to reign...

...subsequently many false apparitions have been able to gain a foothold within the imaginations and affections of the faithful...without the precepts of practical Authority guarding the gates of the reason we have seen a proliferation of the enlightened human spirit of rationalism threatening the Authority of the Church and the apostolic succession which Jesus instituted in the Great Commission....

..and so we have a poor expression of the prudential mode of being among the body of the faithful which has allowed error to supplant true Church teaching effectively clouding the mind of the sensus laicorum and leading it into a false sense of security...

..indeed we have formal and material schismatics who believe they are resting safely within the bosom of the Church yet due to the messages purveyed by false visionairies who have no Church approbation we see that obedience to Church officials has been ignored....

..and so we have people praying the rosary fasting and wrapt in adoration while openly excommunicating themselves a jure latae sententiae.. "the culprit will be excommunicated at once, by the fact itself [statim, ipso facto]". which means by breaking defined laws of the Church... to wit..such people fall into the sin of indredulity..and all their good works become a mockery of the Church rather than an undergirding of truth...in short they do everything for themselves and for their own profit just as a spiritual merchant and they do not work out of charity for Jesus and his communion of the saints....

Formerly a man was rightly considered a schismatic when he disregarded the authority of his own bishop; hence the words of St. Jeromequoted above. Before him St. Cyprianhad said: "It must be understood that the bishop is in the Church and the Church in the bishop and he is not in the Church who is not with the bishop" (Epist., lxvi, 8).

2089 Incredulity is the neglect of revealed truth or the willful refusal to assent to it. "Heresy is the obstinate post-baptismal denial of some truth which must be believed with divine and catholic faith, or it is likewise an obstinate doubt concerning the same; apostasy is the total repudiation of the Christian faith; schismis the refusal of submission to the Roman Pontiff or of communion with the members of the Church subject to him."

….at Medjugorje there is definite voluntary in some cases and involuntary in other cases doubt concerning the Authority of the local Ordinary who is in communion with the Pontiff to guide and protect the faithful indeed the Catechism tells us concerning doubt…

2088 The first commandment requires us to nourish and protect our faith with prudence and vigilance, and to reject everything that is opposed to it. There are various ways of sinning against faith:

Voluntary doubtabout the faith disregards or refuses to hold as true what God has revealed and the Church proposes for belief. Involuntary doubt refers to hesitation in believing, difficulty in overcoming objections connected with the faith, or also anxiety aroused by its obscurity. If deliberately cultivated doubt can lead to spiritual blindness.

...since spiritual blindness is a symptom of latent pride we see that direct disobedience to prelates whose authority is vested in them for our good is a direct insult to God and will result in a loss of God’s friendship since lack of obedience shows lack of trust qua lack of faith therefore we must guard ourselves from error in order to help God establish a unified Church militant ...

.....let us pray to the Archangel Raphael to heal those in spiritual blindness..just as Raphael healed the blind Tobit and so lead us on the true path of God's righteousness...amen
