MEDJUGORJE: A VIGILANTE MAGISTERIUM...and |SCRIPTURE
MEDJUGORJE, MEDJUGORJE COMMISSION, MEDJUGORE AND SCRIPTURE, WHAT IS HAPPENNING IN MEDJUGORJE There is nothing wrong with the sacraments occurring at this place...since according to Thomas Aquinas..in his commentary on the gospel of John
“and the whole house was full of his majesty, that is, the whole fullness of things and of the universe is from the majesty and power of God, through whom all things were made, and by whose light all the men coming into this world are enlightened. “The earth and its fullness are the Lord’s” (Ps 23:1). Since John not only taught how Christ Jesus, the Word of God, is God, raised above all things, and how all things were made through him, but also that we are sanctified by him and adhere to him by the grace which he pours into us, he says below (1:16), “Of his fullness we have all received - indeed, grace in return for grace.” It is therefore apparent that his contemplation is perfect. This perfection is shown in the addition, and the things that were under him filled the temple. For “the head of Christ is God” (1 Cor 11:3). The things that are under Christ are the sacraments of his humanity, through which the faithful are filled with the fullness of grace. In this way, then, the things that were under him filled the temple, i.e., the faithful, who are the holy temple of God (1 Cor 3:17) insofar as through the sacraments of his humanity all the faithful of Christ receive from the fullness of his grace”....so we see that it is just that the sacraments occur at this place as fitting as they might at any other place for the benefit of the faithful who congregate owing to God’s great mercy poured out over humankind... however due to the continued disobedience of the seers a certain mal-alignment with truth has been occurring...a skewed sense of authority and a vigilante magisterium has sprung up through the tacit usurping of the bishop’s authority through the casual and flippant attitude of the seers in regard to established church hierarchy...and through the use of scripture we can see that God has indeed warned us before the fact so that we might be vigilant and alert...Jesus said he was the door...the door to understanding is the intellect with proper knowledge we gain entrance..Jesus said he was the door... Jesus is the word...contained in the word of God is all knowledge...
As the door turneth upon its hinges, so doth the slothful upon his bed.. proverbs 26:14
.. the slothful are those who through complacency and pride choose their own subjectivity over the knowledge of God and his laws…the bed they lay upon is ignorance…the hinges that the door turns upon are the truths contained in the church….since the bishops are appointed through tradition to teach and to protect then it is to them we owe our obedience…
Can. 753 Although the bishops who are in communion with the head and members of the college, whether individually or joined together in conferences of bishops or in particular councils, do not possess infallibility in teaching, they are authentic teachers and instructors of the faith for the Christian faithful entrusted to their care; the Christian faithful are bound to adhere with religious submission of mind to the authentic magisterium of their bishops."
.,.....since as Jesus said...
AMEN, amen I say to you: He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up another way, the same is a thief and a robber. John 10:1…if the door in this sense is Jesus and the mystical body of Christ is the church then we should say that he who enters the fold of truth not by the church doctrine and tradition and God’s laws and commandments but by their own subjectivity is a robber since they try to usurp the action of God’s grace and rely on duplicity and cunning ministrations….possessing knowledge is tantamount to being obedient to the word of God as contained in the doctrines laws and traditions of the church..for when I am obedient I am acting through justice for I discern with proper knowledge and properly ordered knowledge is wisdom…properly ordered intention is obedience to truth and so the two concepts work together…heaven is nothing more than unity of cause in and the relinquishment of the will of the self to that of God…when we are ignorant of God’s ordinances we cannot be obedient since we cannot apprehend how we are to act in due diligence….. we become guilty of excess or deficiency since we are shooting in the dark or we are an archer who does not know where to aim his bow or so to speak we are hammering blindly and the noise we make stems from our inordinate zeal and clanging emotion..this is not a house built on the rock of Christ but on the fantasy of knaves… if we are obedient and balanced and we understand God’s truths we are like the psalmist…
To thee, O God, I will sing a new canticle: on the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings I will sing praises to thee ..psalm 144:9The instrument of ten strings is our soul in sanctified grace which plays the song on the strings of ten virtues: the theological virtues faith , hope and charity, the intellectual virtues knowledge, wisdom and understanding: and the four moral virtues: prudence, fortitude, justice, temperance… The lyre of the soul in sanctified grace and thee ten strings of virtue ennobles a soul and enables it to persist in beautiful works of prayer, self-denial and mercy in effervescent harmony with the Holy Spirit.. this is contrary to a soul that is like a clashing cymbal or a clanging bell that has no obedience and so makes noise which is out of rhythm with the spirit of God....through obedience our instrument plays in tune and the sound is sweet to God since the soul is infused with the notes for the song through the ordinances of the church...
“if obedience be taken in a wide sense for the performance of any action that may be a matter of precept, and disobedience for the omission of that action through any intention whatever, then obedience will be a general virtue, and disobedience a general sin.”…as well..” We may also reply that as in justice, excess is in the person who retains another's property, and deficiency in the person who does not receive his due, according to the Philosopher (Ethic. v, 4), so too obedience observes the mean between excess on the part of him who fails to pay due obedience to his superior, since he exceeds in fulfilling his own will, and deficiency on the part of the superior, who does not receive obedience. Wherefore in this way obedience will be a mean between two forms of wickedness, as was stated above concerning justice (58, 10).”..Thomas Aquinas summa theologica
….so we see without knowledge and obedience in effect we mock God through empty devotions which are fueled by the insolence of our emotions which stain the intellect and have as their source inordinate self love..since our good end rests in God we must be vigilant and meticulous and understand that God since he is just has sent us all the tools necessary to love him and praise him as we should….through the precepts of the church..true obedience leads one to true knowledge of God..false obedience leads one towards oneself and makes a person proud , self-willed, bold, which can lead to impetuosity, and conceit…true humility leads one to a knowledge of oneself it lifts one up so they can realize their true vocation and make their life a praise of God’s glory…true humility loves constructive criticism for it causes one who is truly humble to practice self-introspection and regular fastidious examination of conscience…false humility is a product of pride it pulls one down seeking self-pity and esteem for holy works, it is a result of vanity and self-love…false humility causes one to be prone to flights of anger when others try to offer constructive criticisms and negligent and complacent of their own faults since they are afraid of criticism they are afraid to examine themselves properly with the mirror of scripture this person is always worried about pleasing others rather than pleasing God….
12. But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off the occasion from them that desire occasion, that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. 13. For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14. And no wonder: for Satan himself transformeth himself into an angel of light. 15. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers be transformed as the ministers of justice, whose end shall be according to their works. 2 Corinthians: 11:12-15...when seers tell us that they see the virgin Mary however the local ordinary has misgivings based on his careful study of the events we can see how we have a vigilante magisterium arising To do God’s will is to follow the successors of the apostles since they have been set up to protect us from the wiles and beguiling sirens connived by the devil...
For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive even the elect. Matthew 24:24.....
In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: 2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry ...2Timothy 4...
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves… Matthew 7:15These prophets wear common clothing which is proper for their station , they are common.. they are not from God..those from God would wear the armour of Christ or the robes of prelates as we see in….
exodus 28:2- For your brother Aaron you will make sacred vestments to give dignity and magnificence. You will instruct all the skilled men, whom I have endowed with skill, to make Aaron's vestments for his consecration to my priesthood. These are the vestments which they must make: a pectoral, an ephod, a robe, an embroidered tunic, a turban, and a belt. They must make sacred vestments for your brother Aaron and his sons, for them to be priests in my service. They will use gold and violet material, red-purple and crimson, and finely woven linenthese sheep are not decked in gold which is to mean spiritually love and wisdom and that which is permanent..or violet which is to mean spiritual death or mortification of the flesh and affliction and is to be taken as symbol of the crucifixion ..... But officiously the false prophets will come in sheep’s clothes which are common and coarse as well the sheep’s clothing is a pandering disposition which will cover the insidious intent of their motives…they are indeed wolves since wolves prowl in the darkness and look for weakness and prey on ignorance…ignorance of church teaching and tradition….they are indeed ravenous since they are motivated by lust for power in excess of right reason… this is desire unhindered by reason or divine truth which illuminates the intellect and keeps the desires from drawing it into darkness ..so as john of the cross says…
"The desires weary the soul and torment and darken it, and defile it and weaken it…. The soul is wearied and fatigued by its desires, because it is wounded and moved and disturbed by them as is water by the winds. In just the same way they disturb it, allowing it not to rest in any place or in anything whatsoever. And of such a soul, says Isaias, “the heart of the wicked man is like the sea when it rages.”….and…
”Desire is like the fire, which increases as wood isthrown upon it"
..THAT IS why the wolf of desire is ravenous because it can never be satisfied it is pure desire unreigned by any Godly ordinance... Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ amen………….
